10/24/2016 12:00 AMFive people were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital following a two-car accident on Sunday, Oct. 23 shortly after 10 p.m.
According to East Haven Police, officers were dispatched with the East Haven Fire Department at 10:04 p.m. to the intersection of Foxon Road and Mill Street for an accident involving two pick-up trucks. Upon arrival, it was determined to a serious accident with a report of one person possibly trapped in a vehicle.
Fire department personnel treated five patients for non-life threatening injuries before the patients were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
