Four Buses Shot Leaving Daniel Hand High School


Madison Police are investigating after four buses leaving Daniel Hand High School on Friday, Oct. 21 were shot at.

According to an alert sent out via email by Madison Superintendent of Schools Thomas Scarice, four buses were struck by what appeared to be projectiles from a BB gun after the buses left school grounds. One window was damanged and two students suffered minor injuries. Scarice said that medical attention was not required, and students were transported home on another bus.

"I can assure you that we will work with the Madison Police Department as they conduct their investigation and work to ensure the safety of our students," Scarice said.

The incident has been handed over to Madison Police. No further information is currently available.
