Clinton Police Seek Stop & Shop Shoplifters

The Clinton Police Department is currently investigating a fourth degree larceny that occurred at the Stop & Shop Supermarket, 215 East Main Street, Clinton on Oct. 13.

The incident occured at approximately 5:49 p.m. and involved two dark skinned females.

One suspect was wearing tan pants, and a blue printed medical scrub type shirt. The second suspect was wearing a black hat, a dark hooded sweatshirt, black tights, and she was holding a large black bag. Both suspects can be seen on surveillance walk out of the store after shoving Gillette brand razors, Claritin, Abreva, and Zyrtec brand allergy medications into the large black bag carried by the second suspect. A detailed inventory of the area was taken by store management and $1,300.15 worth of the above mentioned products was taken out of the store without payment.
