The Madison Beach Hotel recently donated $7,000 to the Madison Ambulance Association. In early June, the hotel launched the West Wharf Community Alliance, whose mission is to preserve the beauty of the West Wharf area of Madison and ensure its future prosperity. Every Wednesday during the Grassy Strip Music and Arts Series, the hotel asked its patrons to make a contribution to the West Wharf Sand Pail, which was passed out at each event; $3,500 was collected during the concerts and Madison Beach Hotel owners Ric and Dawn Duques matched all contributions made to the West Wharf Sand Pail.

The Madison Ambulance Association, Inc., is a non-profit 501(c)(3) emergency medical service organization, serving the Madison community. Madison Ambulance is the lead agency responsible for the provision of 911 emergency medical services within the Town of Madison. Madison EMS responds to more than 1,800 requests for service each year and transports more than 1,400 patients annually. Only one-third of its annual budget is reimbursed by insurance.
