09/29/2016 12:01 AMRichard John Malavasi II, the son of Lisa and Richard Malavasi, is engaged to wed Kellina Rose Flanagan, the daughter of Dan and Susan Flanagan.
The bride is a graduate of Windsor Locks High School and Central Connecticut State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She currently works in Cromwell with children on the autism spectrum and is finishing course work to become a masters level, board certified behavior analyst.
The groom is a graduate of Guilford High School and Central Connecticut State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in geography and recently completed his thesis for a master’s in geographic information systems. He currently works as a GIS analyst in Middletown.
The couple met at CCSU as undergrads. The wedding is set for July 2017.
