08/11/2016 12:01 AMCynthia and Milam Langella have an upcoming 50th wedding anniversary. Their wedding reception was held on Aug. 20, 1966 at the Phoenix Restaurant, which is now home to The U.S.S. Chowder Pot in Branford.
Milam was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2015 and after over a year of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, he is now in remission.
