Meet Goose and Maverick

Goose and Maverick are three-year-old male brothers. They came to Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (VSAWL) because their previous owners could no longer keep them due to changes in the home. Goose and Maverick are very friendly with people and have no problem being held. Each brother weights about 12 pounds. Maverick, the solid grey one, needs to be kept on a special diet for his urinary health. The cats can be adopted together or separately. If interested in Goose and Maverick, call VSAWL at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Westbrook, open five days a week (Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Calling ahead is recommended for availability. All animals live on site and can be viewed for consideration for adoption.

To see who else is waiting for a home at the shelter, visit www.valleyshoreanimalwelfareleague.org and www.facebook.com/VSAWL as well as www.petfinder.com. VSAWL also accepts relinquished cats and dogs based on animal intake guidelines and if space is available. To relinquish a cat or dog, call the shelter office at 860-399-7561.
