Got Four Hours? Volunteer for POCO

If you've got four hours to spare, why not volunteer to help out North Branford's 15th Annual Potato and Corn Festival?

With over 25,000 attendees, volunteers are needed to help in all areas including parking, information, kids' games/contests and much more. Big crowds are expected again this year to enjoy the popular midway, live musical entertainment, huge variety of food and activities and special events including Saturday night's fireworks extravaganza.

POCO kicks off Friday, Aug. 5 (5 p.m. - 11 p.m.) and runs Saturday, Aug. 6 (10 a.m. - 11 p.m.) and Sunday Aug. 7 (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.). Volunteers are needed during those hours and some other times and days, as well. Hands are needed to help on Sunday, July 31 between noon and 6 p.m. (Sponsor Party); Thursday, Aug. 4 between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (POCO set up) and also during the morning and afternoon on Friday, Aug. 5 between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (POCO set up).

All of those details, and more, appear on the POCO Volunteer Form. Volunteers will be notified of shifts by Sunday, July 31. Questions? Call 203-484-6017.

POCO is held at Augur's Field (next to North Branford Police Department) on Route 22.  Find out more about what's in store for this year's POCO here
