Branford Police: Female Hiker Missing

June 14, 2016: The Branford Police Department is actively investigating a Missing Person Case with the assistance of both the Connecticut State Police and Amtrak Police and ask for the public's assistance in trying to find Sarah Addy, age 31.

Addy reportedly left her home on Thimble Island Road [in the Stony Creek section]in Branford to go for a hike in the woods yesterday afternoon, Monday, June 13, and not has been seen since.

Attempts to contact her by cell phone have been unsuccessful, and police believe that she is still on foot in this area.  The Branford Police along with the Connecticut State Police and Amtrak Police continue to search for Addy.

Addy is a white female, approximately 5'3" inches tall and weighing about 105 pounds.  She has light brown hair slightly past her shoulders and green eyes.  Addy was last seen wearing a denim skirt and a shirt with some type of print on it (unknown color).  Police believe that she is carrying some type of black backpack.
