Working at the Car Wash in East Haven

A car wash to benefit the victims of the April 16 earthquake in Ecuador was held May 21 at East Haven Town Hall. At least 661 people were killed and more than 27,000 injured in the magnitude 7.8 quake. Here, Sisandee Deesombat, 17, washes an East Haven police cruiser with the help of Chad Ells. Deesombat is an exchange student from Thailand currently studying at East Haven High School.
