The program aims to educate parents on the latest trends in technology and ways to keep their families safe.
The Internet, smartphones, and other devices are common communication tools for children and teens today, but students and parents may be unaware of the potential trouble that could result from misuse.
From texting inappropriate pictures, posting items on social networking sites that become permanent, cyber bullying or communicating with people over mobile apps, people can drop their guard on safety and may not realize how much of their lives they are sharing.
