Meet Samantha

Samantha is an eight year-old female purebred beagle and weighs 35 to 40 pounds. She came to Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (VSAWL) after her family moved and couldn’t take her with them. She is very active, friendly, and is comfortable being around young children. She would be fine as the only dog in the house or may be compatible with a larger dog. An ideal home for her would be one with no cats or smaller dogs. Samantha is up to date on her vaccines, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, and is spayed. VSAWL is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Westbrook, open five days a week (Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Calling ahead is recommended for availability. All animals live on site and can be viewed for consideration for adoption.
