12/03/2015 07:43 AMPRESS RELEASE: Branford Food Pantry clients or other families having a difficult financial time during the holiday can receive a free Christmas turkey dinner food basket by calling the Branford Counseling Center at (203) 481-4248. Please call by Dec. 18 to receive home delivery.
The baskets contain a turkey and all of the trimmings needed to cook a holiday meal for each family. Baskets requested by Dec. 18 will be delivered on Tues., Dec. 22, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and noon. Please note: someone must be home to accept the basket; they will not be left at the door; and the Pantry is closed at noon.
Requests made after Dec. 18 must be picked up at Branford Food Pantry, lower level entry, 30 Harrison Ave. between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and noon on Dec. 22. These late requests will be filled if supplies are available. Recipients who are not regular Branford Food Pantry clients will need to show an I.D. with home address.
