Ranking Member of the legislature’s Veterans committee, State Rep. Dave Yaccarino (R-North Haven) toured the Connecticut State Veterans’ Home in Rocky Hill on Oct. 7 and received an informational update from the new Connecticut Veterans Affairs commissioner, Sean Connolly.

Currently, 125 residents live in the hospital located on the grounds of the Rocky Hill Veterans Home. Only four female veterans live there in domicile. Connolly told Yaccarino about the number of successes the home has made over the last year and about plans to expand its domiciliary care unit in the future.
