Guilford Schools Honors GHS Building Committee

In the high school’s new state-of-the-art auditorium are (from left) Superintendent of Schools Paul Freeman, Board of Education Chair Bill Bloss, Associate Superintendent Anne Keene, and Building Committee members Barbara Casey (Vice Chair), Margaret Molnar-Ryan, Mary Beeman, Robert Jacob, and Scott Pinckney (Chair). Building Committee members who were unable to attend the ceremony include Lawrence Marcik, Bill Mulligan, Scott Orenstein, Guido Petra, and Todd Williams.

At convocation on Sept. 1, Guilford Public Schools awarded its Friend of Education Award to the Guilford High School Building Committee in recognition of its outstanding service to the community for the oversight of all phases of the design and construction of the new Guilford High School. The new high school opened this fall, on time and within budget, to students on Sept. 8.
