Fourth Graders Support Life Haven Shelter

The 4th grade of A.W. Cox was recently represented by (left to right) Taylor Smith, Arianna Tomassi, Sam Mackowiak, and Aiden Cohen through delivery of more than 70 decorated bags of toiletries to the Life Haven Shelter in New Haven. This is in conjunction with a 4th grade school program in which the children learn, hands-on, about local not-for-profit organizations and then come up with ways that they can help that respective local organization. The program is intentionally kid-driven with parental support.
