Tuttle Students Support Toy Closet

Tuttle Elementary of East Haven, along with Ferrara and Momauguin schools, ended their year by reading the novel From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler for a One School, One Read. In connection to this book which takes place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Tuttle students were asked to contribute arts and crafts supplies to the Yale-New Haven Hospital Toy Closet. The students also had Fine Arts Friday at which students, for a small donation, received raffle tickets for a chance to win a gift card. The students raised $275 to also donate to the Toy Closet.
