07/30/2015 12:01 AMSix members of the Northford Women’s Club recently volunteered at Matt’s Mission 5K Run. The group had a wonderful time supporting this worthy cause in town. Michele Nilson helped organize and promote the event all year, and also ran the race. Liz Boissard, Mary Ellen Collett, Cyndi Basil, Andrea Alexander, and Kathy Tobin worked at the finish line filling water cups, greeting the runners as they came in, and cleaning up afterwards.
