07/27/2015 12:00 AMBranford Police are looking for a suspect responsible for a bank robbery that occured today shortly after noon at TD Bank, 1003 West Main Street.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 30 to 40 years old, 6' to 6' 2" tall, with very short hair or balding. He was wearing a green baseball cap with a light colored mesh on the back of the cap, a short sleeved grey colored t-shirst, blue cargo shorts, and sneakers with white socks.
After exiting the bank, the supect left the area on foot, heading westbound and ran through a line of tall shrubbery to the adjacent properities.
K9 officers from the Connecticut State Police, North Branford, and East Haven assisted Branford Police in attempting to locate the suspect.
