The Branford Rotary Club Student of the Month (SOM) program at Branford High School (BHS) recognizes high-achieving juniors and seniors who have made distinctive academic contributions.

Megan Glynn, the daughter of Barry and Jacqueline Glynn of Branford, was nominated by her business teacher Aiden Lynch. A senior at BHS, Glynn has received high honors all four years and the Academic Achievement Award in Anatomy Honors. She is a member of the Chemistry Club, Green Scene, Interact, and Amnesty Club. Her volunteer activities include the Branford Food Bank, Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, and Blackstone Library. Glynn has demonstrated leadership activities by tutoring students, and when needed she is able to teach her Anatomy class. Upon graduating, Megan will attend the University of Connecticut.
