Gregory M. Hencir Weds Meaghan M. O’Connell


Gregory M. Hencir, the son of Alice and Raymond Hencir of Madison, wed Meaghan M. O’Connell, the daughter of Mary and William O’Connell of Worcester, Massachusetts, on March 20 in Groton, Massachusetts.

The Reverend Steve Domienik of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Madison officiated the ceremony, followed by a reception in the Barn at Gibbet Hill.

The groom was accompanied by Matthew Murray as best man, Mark Rogalski, and William Greaves, as well as brothers of the bride William and Kevin O’Connell.

The bride was accompanied by Lauren Townley as woman of honor, and bridesmaids sister of the groom Kathryn Hencir and sister-in-law Kristin O’Connell.

The bride and groom met through mutual friends in Burlington, Vermont. The groom is a graduate of Daniel Hand High School’s Class of 2003 and graduated with a bachelor’s of science in environmental science from the University of Vermont and a master of science in environmental science from the University of New Haven. He is currently pursuing a master of business administration degree at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is employed as project manager at AECOM in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

The bride is a native of Worcester, Massachusetts and graduated with a bachelor’s of arts in communication and culture from Clark University and a master of science in advertising from Boston University. She is currently employed as procurement coordinator at the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services in Stow, Massachusetts.

The bride and groom followed their wedding with a honeymoon trip to London, Bruges, and Paris. The couple reside at their home in Sterling, Massachusetts.
