06/25/2015 12:01 AMThe North Haven Garden Club recently participated in the 2015 Earth Day event. The club had many exhibits featuring what its members have done in civic and beautification activities, along with backyard habitat and helping the pollinators, especially the monarch butterflies. The club has been led by President Gerri Giordano for the past five years. Cindy Golia, youth chair, has spearheaded many projects with environmental issues and working at Green Acres. Bene Jablonski has re-established a memorial garden at Ridge Road School in memory of Kathy Brandt.
