Congratulations, Guilford High School Class of 2015

It was a picture-perfect night as the Guilford High School (GHS) Class of 2015 celebrated its commencement on the Guilford Green on June 19 with the traditional tossing of caps at the conclusion of the ceremony.

The Class of 2015 represented the 52nd and final class of GHS students graduating from the existing high school building; the new high school building will welcome all students for the fall semester.

Of the 265 graduates, 91 percent will be pursuing some form of post-secondary education. There will be 204 seniors attending four-year colleges or universities and 27 seniors pursuing their studies at two-year institutions. Eight seniors will be attending technical programs, one will be attending a prep school program, two will be joining the armed forces, and 23 seniors will be either traveling, are undecided or taking a gap year, or will be joining the work force directly after graduation.
