05/29/2015 12:00 AMThe Old Saybrook Police Department responded to a local residence being renovated, for a report of a man being stabbed.
A contractor working at 29 Beach Road West, called 911 at 1:49 a.m., to report he had been stabbed by another contractor following an argument over loud music.
The contractors were staying at the residence that they are renovating in order to get an early start. An argument ensued over loud music one of the contractors, Francisco (Frank) Sanabria, was playing. Sanabria attacked the victim and fled the scene.
Responding Old Saybrook Police officers located Sanabria a short distance away and placed him under arrest.
The victim was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries to his abdomen, chest and hand.
Sanabria, 54, of New Britain was charged with assault in the 2nd degree and disorderly conduct. Sanabria is being held on $50,000 bond and will be presented in Middletown Superior Court today.
