• Rose Cole, APRN, has returned to Middlesex Hospital Primary Care in Chester.

• Julie Faircloth has joined the Essex office of Page Taft~Christie’s International Real Estate. She and her family reside in East Haddam. She volunteers at the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce events including Business After Work Auction, Cruise on Main, Motorcycle Mania, and Artists for World Peace.

• Wildwood Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, with Essex and Old Saybrook offices, recently announced the arrival of its newest member, Emily Peluso, R.N., APRN.

• Teal Reamer recently joined Education Solutions LLC as managing partner. Reamer will specialize in college, graduate school, and financial aid counseling at Education Solution’s new offices at the Chandlery on 9 Novelty Lane. Reamer resides in Essex with her husband, Jeff. Education Solutions, LLC is beginning its 20th year in Essex. It is a full-service educational consulting practice that provides independent, college, graduate and medical school consulting, test preparation, financial aid consulting and psycho-educational testing.

• Michael Gennaro is the new executive director of Goodspeed Musicals. He succeeds Michael Price, who will retire at the end of this year after concluding his 46th season at Goodspeed.

• Water’s Edge Resort & Spa recently appointed Thomas Sullivan as general manager and Nestor Sanchez as food and beverage director. • Margo Weitekamp has been named marketing chair of the Southeastern Connecticut Chapter of SCORE. She moved to Essex recently from New Jersey, where she was an executive at Johnson & Johnson for 20 years prior to retiring. • Terry Gilbert, CNA, at Aaron Manor was recently inducted into the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) CNA Hall of Fame.

• Barron’s, the acclaimed financial and investment weekly, has named John W. Rafal and the team at Essex Financial Services to their Top 1200 Financial Advisors in the U.S. Rafal has achieved the ranking of #2 in the state of Connecticut for the second year in a row.

• Tina Rickenback, R.N., APRN, of Wildwood Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in Essex has been awarded the Connecticut National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) PNP of the Year award for 2014.

• Toni Robinson of Essex, professor of law at Quinnipiac University, received the university’s most prestigious academic honor, the Center for Excellence in Teaching Award.

• The 2014 Super Lawyers List includes Gregory A. Allen and Jan C. Trendowski of Trendowski & Allen, P.C. of Centerbrook.
