05/27/2015 12:00 AMA Bronx, New York man was killed when the vehicle he was driving left Interstate 95 and landed on State Street in Guilford. A passenger was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with serious injuries.
According to police, Lulaj Kastriot, 44, of Bronx, New York was traveling in the left-hand lane on I-95 North 1/10th of a mile north of the exit 58 ramp in a 2010 Ford Ranger at 5:43 a.m. The Ranger left the roadway and landed on State Street. The driver sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. The passenger, identified as Scott Phillips, 53, of Greenwich, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
