05/27/2015 02:00 PMOld Saybrook Girl Scout Troop 62046 recently volunteered at the Shoreline Soup Kitchen food pantry. The 4th-grade troop used some of the Girl Scout cookie money raised to purchase and assemble “birthday bags” filled with cake mix, frosting, candles, party cups, napkins, and plates. While volunteering, the girls handed these out to patrons of the food pantry.
