Academic and Extracurricular Achievements

• Ashley Paholski of Ivoryton, a junior majoring in English/pre-law and minoring in education and mathematics at Fairfield University, was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society of excellence in the liberal arts and sciences. She is also a member of Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit honor society, Sigma Tau Delta English honor society, Pi Mu Epsilon mathematics honor society, and vice president of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

• Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Inductees, Fordham University: Melissa Luster of Essex and Ryan Wichtowski of Deep River.

• Jeanluc Poulard of Deep River matriculated at Eastern Connecticut State University for the Spring 2015 semester.

• Dillon C. Rodriguez of Essex participated in West Point’s Summer Leaders Experience).

• Maggie Rodriquez of Essex was recognized as the winner in the Creative Writing category from the Shoreline Arts Alliance Scholarships in the Arts.

• Emily Telensky of Essex, Grade 9, placed third in the Connecticut State 4-H Talent Show at Connecticut 4-H Expressive Arts Day. Telensky performed an original modern dance, which she choreographed and entitled Seed.

• Melissa Winchell of Deep River is studying abroad in Ireland as part of the Champlain College Study Abroad Program.
