Garrison Fenner Receives Good Citizen Award


The Madison Lions Club recently presented Daniel Hand High School (DHHS) junior Garrison Fenner with the 2015 Good Citizen Award. Pictured (left to right) are his sister Kailey; his, mother Amy; Garrison Fenner; his father, Garry, and Lion Fritz Luecke, who presented the award.

In addition to club members and spouses, DHHS Principal T.J. Salutari, Jennifer Hawley of the Guidance Department, and assistant football coach Mike Ciotti attended the award meeting. Ciotti spoke of Fenner’s commitment both on and off the sports field. In addition to football and track, Fenner became involved in Boy Scouts at an early age and expects to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout this year. He plans to pursue a career in the sciences or in engineering.
