Extra Snow to be Dumped on Guilford Green

First Selectman Joseph Mazza said the town has come up with a unique plan to deal with all the extra snow that's fallen in recent days/weeks - dump it on the Guilford Green.

"There no place else to put it,'' joked the first selectman, who said the snow will be taken to the Green over the next few days.

He added it will come just in time for the Guilford Parks & Recreation Department "Winter Wonderland.''

On February 17

, from noon to 3 p.m. Guilford will hold its annual “Winter Wonderland’’ inside and outside the Community Center.

"At least the kids will enjoy it (the snow),'' said Mazza.
