An astute North Haven resident alerted police to an attempted burglary in progress around noontime today. Police were informed that two young men were observed walking from the rear yard of a Dixwell Avenue home. Police began searching the area and finally located 22-year-old Edward Clini, and 23-year-old Chris Dynia walking near Ridge Road. The investigation revealed the two had removed a window screen allowing them access to an unoccupied residence. Both were arrested and charged with Burglary Third Degree, Conspiracy, and Criminal Mischief. Clini, and Dynia, both North Haven residents, were held on a $5,000 bond.
