Madison Couple Killed in Car Crash

BOOTHBAY, ME — Two Madison residents died in a car crash in Maine Friday morning, police said.

Donald, 85 and Doreen, 67, Hudson were traveling north on Route 27 in Boothbay around 10:30 a.m. when the driver lost control of the GMC Envoy SUV, police said.

The vehicle veered to the right, went down a ditch, hit an embankment, went airborne, flipped over, and hit a utility pole and many trees before it landed on its roof, police said.
