Cheered on by his mother, father and siblings, who were all in Sochi, Bohonnon impressed. NBC's commentators related Bohonnon's "Cinderella story" -- his last minute invitation to the World Cup competition, where he placed second and then received his invitation to Sochi.
Monday was proclaimed Mac Bohonnon Day in Madison.
