Political Sign Draws Attention on Route 80

A political campaign sign endorsing President Barrack Obama has generated some buzz in East Haven. While the message on the sign seems generic enough, "Obama cares - Mitt Not!!! Trickle us one shame on you. Trickle us twice shame on us." it's the Big Bird stuffed toy that's getting most of the attention.

In two photographs submitted by a resident, Big Bird is shown hanging off the edge of the sign with a noose around his neck. The display does does not appear to be endorsed by any polticial party.
