Belval is Write-In for Westbrook Selectman

Belval will compete against the Republican endorsed candidate John Hall III and the Democrat endorsed candidate Chris Ehlert.

Voters choosing Belval will have to hand-write his name into the ballot’s write-in slot under the Selectman’s race.

Belval, an electrician and employee of CL&P, is currently serving on the town’s Zoning Commission.

He says he is running “to try to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard and their issues addressed in a bi-partisan way.” He supports the schools and youth programming, and wants to work on ways to assure consistent enforcement of town land use rules and regulations.
