$3,000 Reward Offered in North Branford Home Invasion

The North Branford Police Department is offering a reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction regarding this week's home invasion in North Branford.

Detectives working the case are hoping that DNA tests will reveal more details, or the reward will encourage someone to come forward with information.

The reward money will be coming from the drug asset fortfieture account and will be in the amount of $3,000. This money is not coming from any budget item in which taxpayers are concerned.

On Aug. 15, five black men, all with handguns and wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas over their faces broke into the Autumn Circle home and tied up family before searching the house for money, jewelry and electronics.

The men are described as in their mid 20s early 30s, one was approximately 240 pounds, the others approximately180 pounds.
