Guilford Crosswalks, Road Lines to Be Repainted

The town's road markings are slated to be repainted and completed, hopefully, before the start of the 2011-12 school year, Director of Public Works John Volpe has said.

"This is another item we had a long discussion on whether we should renew the bid, which the town has the option to do, or go out on a rebid, or go on the CRCOG (Capital Region Council of Governments) contract," he said. "For a number of reasons, the commission decided to stay with Atlantic Pavement Marking."
