07/19/2011 12:00 AMThe East Haven Art Commission is planning a "Meet the Artists" event on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 11 to 5 p.m. outside the Hagaman Memorial Library, 227 Main St., East Haven.
Artists willing to demonstrate their paintings, drawings, or artwork may apply. Space is limited. Ten artists will be selected based on a first come basis. Please submit your information by Sept. 9, 2011.
Cost to participate is $30. This will be equally divided between the Friends of the Hagaman Memorial Library and the East Haven Art Commission. You must provide your own tent and display.
Please send your artist statement, pictures of your work that will be on display and a brief explanation of what you will be demonstrating to: East Haven Town Hall, 250 Main St., East Haven, CT 06512. ATTN: East Haven Art Commission.
