Triple Shooting at Mangos Bar & Restaurant


This weekend on Sunday, Feb. 7, three people were shot at the recently opened Mango's Bar on Hemingway Avenue in East Haven.Police officers arrived at the scene of the crime at 1:43 a.m. to find all three victims sustaining non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, fled the scene before the police arrived, according to authorities.

In related news, State Representative Mike Lawlor, who represents the town of East Haven in the Connecticut General Assembly, together with the support of East Haven Mayor April Capone Almon, called for state authorities to determine whether the liquor license at Mango's should be suspended or permanently revoked on Monday following the incident.
