While we were waiting for our recent take-out order, the owner told us he and his family used to have a location in Manchester, but that building was sold. They live in Old Saybrook, so they searched the shoreline and found this location, the former location of Love Bakery. Manchester’s loss is our gain! We got the Hot & Sour Soup with shrimp, pineapple, bean sprouts, celery, tomato in a spicy lemongrass chicken broth; a Vietnamese Salad with lettuce, cabbage, and a dressing of fish sauce and vinegar oil.
