One Fun Lunch

I popped by Moon Shots, 1063 Boston Post Rd, Guilford, to pick up a quick cup of coffee. Just a cup of coffee! That’s it! Then I saw their new Winter Warm Menu. I stayed for lunch, having purchased a Fusion Bone Broth Bowl with an egg on top and a Thai iced tea with pretty purple ube cream on top. I settled into a comfy chair amidst the hubbub of the lunch hour just kicking off and browsed through the old-timey books they have scattered about. The Cruise of the Snark by Jack London, which looked as though it may have taken a cruise of its own; The Castle by Franz Kafka featuring the Muir translation and an homage by Thomas Mann; and a blue book entitled Ted Malone’s Scrapbook with this dedication: “This book is dedicated to all the people in the world who never had a book dedicated to them.” Thanks, Ted!
