The Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library will host Redaction: Revisiting the Sweet Flypaper of Life with Titus Kaphar, Dwayne Betts, and Bridget R. Cooks on Tuesday, May 16 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, 121 Wall Street, New Haven,.

The discussion with artist Titus Kaphar, poet Dwayne Betts, and art historian Bridget R. Cooks will celebration of Kaphar and Betts’s new book, Redaction, and in light of artist Roy DeCarava and poet Langston Hughes’s “The Sweet Flypaper of Life” (1955).
