This is the story of the beauty of lifelong friendships. Opposites in every way, Will and “Maxey” meet as Yale juniors when they are chosen to join a secret society meant to bring together people who would never meet otherwise. Their year together led to the 40-plus year friendship they enjoy today. I admit that I didn’t like Will for most of the book until I realized that I, too, would write my friends as the better people. I also reminded my husband to contact his friends more often.
