03/04/2023 07:34 AMShoreline Soul, the shoreline gospel choir that welcomes everyone regardless of their experience singing, still has spots open for its workshops that will lead up to a spring concert performance in June.
The organizers hope to have an idea by March 20 as to how many people are interested, so people are encouraged to sign up before then. Also, those who sign up before then will get a discount.
There will be five Monday practice sessions, April 3, 17, May 1, 15, and 22. All sessions are from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. at the First Congregational Church (on the town green), 26 Meetinghouse Lane, Madison. The spring concert will be Sunday, June 4, at 3 p.m. with a pre-concert rehearsal at 1:30 p.m.
The early registration fee, received by March 20, is $85. The late registration fee, paid March 21 or later, is $95. A guide digital vocal recording is included, or a CD for those who need that. Some scholarships are available.
