The Saybrook Stage Company will be performing Blithe Spirit live Thursday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m; Friday and Saturday, Jan. 20 and 21 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. at The Kate, 300 Main St., Old Saybrook.

This smash Noel Coward (Private Lives) comedy hit features fussy author Charles who accidentally conjures up the restless spirit of his long-dead first wife Elvira. When that happens, all bets are off for his new wife, Ruth and their well-ordered life.

The cast includes Amy Bentley, Mark Gilchrist, Alicia James, Mary Corigliano, Terri Corigliano, Kevin Spedding, and Barbara Schreier.
