Frisson In Concert

The George Flynn Classical Concerts series will present Frisson in concert on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 3 p.m., at The Morgan School Auditorium, 71 Killingworth Turnpike, Clinton.

The Frisson ensemble is one of the leading classical music groups, performing at the Marlboro and Ravinia Festivals, as well as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City.

Many of the musicians are graduates of Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble Connect program. This holiday program will include works by Handel, Vivaldi, Bach, Tchaikovsky, and traditional Christmas carols and songs. Frisson comes from the French word meaning “a shiver or a thrill, a sudden feeling of excitement.”

Tickets are free and must be ordered via the georgeflynnclassicalconcerts.com website. For more information, visit georgeflynnclassicalconcerts.com, or visit facebook.com/GeorgeFlynnClassicalConcerts.
