11/10/2022 12:00 AMThe 44th annual Lenny & Joe’s Madison Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m.
The 5-mile race and 2-mile walk will both start and finish is in the heart of Madison on the historic Madison Town Green. Both the run and walk courses feature scenic views of Long Island Sound and some of Madison’s most picturesque Shoreline neighborhoods. Long sleeve t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 2,500 pre-registered runners and walkers. Participants will also enjoy a great post race party and refreshments.
Packet pick-up will be held this year at Lenny & Joe’s in Madison, 1301 Boston Post Rd, on Tuesday, Nov. 22 and Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Packets may also be picked up the morning of the race.
Parking is available in public lots and a limited number of spaces will be available in select private lots downtown. Car pooling is encouraged. Plan to arrive in plenty of time to make the 10 a.m. start.
The event is dedicated to event director and friend David Parcells, a two-term Madison Jaycee President who passed away suddenly in April of 2007. Parcells touched and inspired the lives of everyone he knew, and is deeply missed.
