09/29/2022 12:00 AMSixteen members of City Gallery will display their works as part of a group show from Friday, Oct. 7 to Sunday, Oct. 30 at City Gallery, 994 State Street, New Haven. There will be an opening reception Friday, Oct. 7 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and an open house weekend Saturday, Oct. 29 from noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 30 from noon to 5 p.m.
Gallery hours are Friday through Saturday 1 to 4 p.m. or by appointment.
The group show will take place during the visual arts festival, Artspace’s Open Source 2022.
City Gallery is a collective of innovative, contemporary artists from the New Haven area. It is a member-run gallery featuring a wide range of visual media: painting, sculpture, photography, papermaking, fiber art, printmaking, and mixed media.
Members include Judy Atlas, Meg Bloom, Joy Bush, Phyllis Crowley, Jennifer Davies, Roberta Friedman, William Frucht, Joyce Greenfield, Rita Hannafin, Barbara Harder, Sheila Kaczmarek, Kathy Kane, Esthea Kim, Tom Peterson, Ruth Sack, and Michael Zack.
