The Tea Kettle Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant, 1395 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook has added a few more fabulously fun items to its already very creative menu. Bougie Boozy Cakes are specialty pancakes for 21 and older only, and they include Bailey’s Irish Cream (with Oreo cookies and a mocha sauce), Bourbon Street (with Jim Beam and candied bacon), Jamaican-Me-Crazy (with rum), Malibu Tan (also with rum), and Not Your Grandmother’s PB&J (with peanut butter cups and peanut butter whiskey. Peanut butter whiskey? Who even knew there was such a thing?). The boozy fillings are cooked inside the pancake and served with whipped maple butter and powdered sugar.—Pem McNerney
