This is a sweet story that had me both laughing and crying. Terminally ill Lenni Petterson is 17 and heart patient Margot Macrae is 83. They form a friendship in the hospital art class when they realize that combined they have lived 100 years. They decide to celebrate their lives through paintings and telling the stories that go with them. The characters are lovely and, although it involves death, this book is an uplifting must-read.
